Thunder Rolls Down the Glen

About this wallpaper

A deep glen caught between thunderclaps, dark slopes funneling the sound down the valley, rain curtains marching steadily along the glen’s length, a river flashing silver far below between black banks, the next flash already building in the clouds above the headwall.

Built on deep black, the image keeps its mountains mood through tonal depth rather than pure darkness. Light is used sparingly, which is what gives the composition its weight.

Designed as a phone background, it balances legibility and atmosphere: icons stay readable against the darker regions while the composition holds up at full brightness. Free download in full resolution.
