Color Surviving the Ruin

About this wallpaper

Shattered leadlight windows glowing faintly at dusk, colored glass fragments catching the last light in jewel tones, the ruined chapel walls black around the glowing shards, the window tracery bent and broken, dusk’s orange fading behind the surviving glass into night.

The palette stays in deep black, layered so the eye moves from the darkest corners toward whatever faint light the scene allows. It reads as ruins without tipping into flat black — there is always texture in the shadows.

As a phone wallpaper it sits well behind icons and widgets — dark enough to keep text readable, detailed enough to reward a second look. Free download in full resolution.
