About this wallpaper
A weathered gargoyle perched on a ruined parapet, rain streaming from its open jaws, lightning illuminating a storm-wracked city far below, the gargoyle’s stone wings folded against the gale, water sheeting off the parapet’s broken crenellations, the city’s lights flickering through the storm’s dark.
The ruins feeling comes through in the color work: deep black, dark slate blue, blended so transitions feel natural instead of posterized. Darkness here is a gradient, not a void.
On a phone screen the dark regions keep app labels crisp while the finer details emerge on closer inspection — the kind of wallpaper that doesn’t get old after a week. Free download in full resolution.
