The Bog Screams Back at the Wind

About this wallpaper

A dark peat bog under a screaming gale, mist ripped into tatters across black water channels, dead pines bent double by the wind along the bog’s edge, rain stitching the water’s surface, the far bank dissolving into driven grey murk.

The palette stays in deep black, layered so the eye moves from the darkest corners toward whatever faint light the scene allows. It reads as storm without tipping into flat black — there is always texture in the shadows.

As a phone wallpaper it sits well behind icons and widgets — dark enough to keep text readable, detailed enough to reward a second look. Free download in full resolution.
